SA Museum Night of Discovery

Visit the Port Lincoln Hotel ballroom on Thursday evening, 19th February from 5.30pm to 9pm where the SA Museum comes to Port Lincoln.

See performances called 'Dinosaurs Down Under' and listen to a talk about the 'wild life of the wildlife'! as well as discovering the wonders of the sea.

Interactive displays will take place in the Lincoln Ballroom foyer from 5.30pm through until 9pm and we encourage everyone to bring friends and family to experience this event - a rare opportunity to see what goes on at the SA Museum in Adelaide for those on the EP.

EP Farmers and Fisherman's Market

The EP Farmers and Fisherman's Market will be held out the front of the Port Lincoln Hotel on Saturday, 18th February from 10am - 5pm. We will have live music with the Pedro Boys from 10.30am, then Whisky Jack will take over for lunch time tunes into the early evening.

Join us for locally produced seafood, olive oil, lamb, wines and biscotti, as we celebrate the fine things produced on the Eyre Peninsula. Food and wine specials throughout the day will showcase local restaurants paired with producers and wine makers, so don't miss out.

We also welcome over 1500 passengers on board the SilverShadow, who will be in Port Lincoln for the day on Feb 18th. We aim to show them the best we have here, so come and make them welcome.

Lexus Yacht Week

Welcome all sailing from Adelaide to Port Lincoln as they enter Boston Bay on Saturday 18th February for a week long regatta.

Lexus are the major supporter of the event again and the Port Lincoln Hotel is proud to be a part of the 2012 Lexus Yacht Week, where we will host cocktail parties, presentation dinners and more.

$30,000 donation to the Condamine Bell Hotel

On Friday 2nd December, Diana Williams from the Port Lincoln Hotel, went to surprise Shane Hickey from Condamine with a cheque for $30,000 thanks to the Port Lincoln Hotel and the local community. Ten months after organising a fundraising dinner for the flood victims in Queensland, Diana went to visit with Brian Turvey from Lincoln Estate Wines and Reg Kemp, Kemp Real Estate. Overlooking the banks of the Condamine River, that was flooded three times in January 2011, the donation will help Shane rebuild parts of the hotel still damaged. The local community who were having a quiet knock off drink that night, were speechless when the $30,000 donation was handed to Shane. The event could not have been made possible without the support of the locals from Port Lincoln and it was with great pride that Diana represented the Eyre Peninsula with such a random act of kindness. We will update everyone on the purchases Shane makes, as well as uploading the story that will appear on Seven News.

AHA Award winning hotel

The AHA SA awarded the Port Lincoln Hotel with two outstanding achievement awards this week. We were the recipients of the Outstanding Community Achievement Award as well as the Best Tourism Initiative.

We are delighted to now be the National AHA Winner for the Best Tourism Initiative Award - recognising our commitment to promoting other tourism businesses here on the Eyre Peninsula and preparing personalised itineraries - let us make one for you.

The community award recognised our commitment to local sponsorships of sporting clubs and businesses through donations and support, as well as the $30,000 we raised at the Return Support Dinner for the Queensland Flood victims.
